Sorry that I purchased this costume for my son's social studies project. The hat was missing from the order, and the costume was not the size I ordered or what was indicated on the outside of the package. Additionally, it was so cheaply made that it was useless. Complete junk. I plan to send it back and purchase something better elsewhere. I won't shop here again.
I purchased this costume for my son's Living History Museum project. It came very fast. I thought the design of the costume was great. My son tried on the costume and when putting it on for the first time two of the five buttons fell off. I was able to sew them back on, but it was annoying that they fell off without even wearing it once. It was much smaller than the size chart indicated. We made it work, but it could have been a real problem.
Costume was bigger than I expected which was good for me as my child is normally larger than this size but this is the largest size they have. Decent quality. Looked adorable.
The costume was perfect for use as John Adams in my son's "Living Museum" at school. There are nice details such as lace on the sleeves and jabot , as well as gold buttons on the vest. The large was a perfect fit for my son who is 5' tall and 105 lbs.
I read a few reviews of the product and a few complained about the sizing chart not being accurate and the size of the hat so I did not have high expectations. I received the product and had my son try it on. If fit very well and in my opinion the sizing chart was correct. I do have to admit, the hat was a bit small but is served it's purpose.
